Winter Storm

So the winter storm finally hit Bloomington. It’s not as bad as some of other areas in the region, we got about 3~4 inches of snow and a dozen Fahrenheit below zero (which is bearable). It’s interesting to see branches and fruits freezes up, although not yet as impressive as what mother nature did last year.

Finally. Have a good winter!

It’s still… Fall?

By now we’d assume to get the cold weather that we are so often used to. After a few cold fronts up here in the Midwest, North Face probably had some revenue jittery. Midway into November, we are still getting good ol’ 50s, and even frequently 60s. With no harsh wind blowing at them or cold air freezing them, the flowers are having their ‘7th-inning’ blossoming.

I could already hear cries of Global Warming, but checking up on weather.com, there wasn’t any unusual weather report, so I assume this is all still quite normal? Or preparation for a much worse winter? Pray for the first.
