(from my Photostream)
The colors of the trees, plants and skies have reached their richest and most beautiful (I think) primary colors. It’s like painting without tinting or adding any whites, but just Red, Yellow and Blue. Just love it.
One thing that I really appreciate of Bloomington (Indiana) over other cities that I have lived in before (Hangzhou, Singapore, Seattle) is its very distinctive seasons. Spring is green and cooling (not cold), Summer is yellow and hot (not warm), Fall is sometimes days-long, but when its normal, its red and cooling (again, not chilly – I’m running out of vocabularies here), and finally Winter is bare and white and cold – truly winter.
Even though there’s only one College Mall, and seven Starbucks (yeah, like that’s not enough), the town’s beauty cannot be used to compare with that of city skyscrapers (such as the one that China is building right now; see it here and read it here or even watch it here) because its different.
Is a green apple more appealing, or a white (even black) one? I’d like to have both.
