I love geography

(from my photostream)

The school’s geography department held a geographic information system (GIS) display in the main lobby of the Herman B Wells Library. The display consists of art work done on ‘Indiana’ and a load of satellite images of Indiana and of course Bloomington. There are also antique maps of Bloomington and Monroe County (one of the county in the state of Indiana).

That sculpture is of late Herman B Wells, former president and chancellor of the Indiana University. You may look up more about him on the probably-more-accurate Wikipedia.

Weather forecast – today’s temperature: 62 degrees Fahrenheit. I know.
